Answer In order to access the Umbrella Elite, your underlying carriers must have an A.M. Best rating of A-VII and above. Defense Costs Question Are the defense costs within the limit of insurance? Answer No, expenses to defend any suit or to investigate any claim will be in addition to the applicable limits of insurance of this policy. Bankruptcy and Inability to Pay Question Will bankruptcy, insolvency or inability to pay of any underlying insurers affect payment of losses? Answer These situations will not relieve us from the payment of a loss covered by this policy. But under no circumstances will such require us to drop down, replace or assume any obligation under the Schedule of Underlying Insurance. Limits Question What limits are available with Umbrella Elite? Answer Limits are available up to $50 million.
